The Chicken CoopThis coop houses our chickens. These lovely ladies join us every spring. IF you wish to help feed, collect eggs or hold the chickens, please come to the front desk at the Station and ask for Jenn. The StationThe Station is the hub of Aspen and our retail centre. It houses the gift shop, greenhouse and customer service counter. Visit the front desk and book camping, train excursions or dinner reservations. Grab an activities sheet or get information on what else is going on today or in the future. The GreenhousesThe greenhouses are attached to the Station. Once the garden centre season is over the greenhouses are used for private functions and events including, our fabulous Train of Terror and famous Polar Express Train Ride™. Excursion TrainsOur Excursion Trains run from June to December this year. You can choose from 11 different tours. They love their obstacle course themed pen that allows them to climb and jump. Pig PenThis pen can be found just east of the train. The pigs join us when they are piglets and will stay with us until fall. They are very intelligent animals and enjoy spending the day in the sun and mud. Herb/Flower GardenLocated just to the south of the Chicken Coop, you can find the herb and flower garden that gets planted and harvested every year. If you would like find some young weeds and give them a pull. then feed them to the chickens, keep your fingers on the outside of the wire. they are a delectable treat for our chicken. Steam Engine 5080Over 106 years old, she is a beautiful Iron Horse. Weighing in at 118 tonnes she is a majestic piece of history. Union Pacific CabooseOur beautiful yellow caboose is the perfect getaway for a small family or couple. Located right next to the Meinerz washrooms and laundry building. Northern Alberta CabooseThe largest of our three cabooses. Sleeps six, with one bedroom in the cupola. The prefect place to relax. Canadian Pacific CabooseOur shiny red caboose is the perfect place to get away from the daily grind. Complete with a deck and fire pit, come watch the sunset with us. Aspen Crossing BusWe offer bus services for groups and VIP packages. Our 52 passenger coach is wrapped like our famous red train engine and can’t be missed.
